Their high school and middle school students are extremely disrespectful and downright do not care about what they say or do. They cuss ,get into arguments, and harass other people especially on the field where the players have zero respect for coaches, other players, or referees. The coaches also do not address cussing or unsportsmanlike conduct towards other players. Do not send your child here.

My elementary son come to me in the second day of school (he is 2nd grade now) and said “mom I never want to leave Wakefield, everyone is so nice and caring, I love all my teachers, and Ms. Ingram is the best I just love her so very much.” Wonderful school, wonderful teachers. Everyone knows each other. Upper school saying hi to the little one by their names tells you how united they are....

My two youngest children attended WCDS. They both went on to Duke for Undergraduate studies and both Doctored in Physics. One studied with Sir Rodger Penrose on a Rhodes Scholarship and edited his book ,"The Road to Reality"

After attending WCDS for four years, I chose to remove my daughter from this school. I'm deeply disappointed in the inability of WCDS to provide an appropriate environment and proper support for students and their families.
There are several specific concerns too complicated to elaborate here. However, I will share one of my most important complaints related to the safety and well being of young people attending this school: my daughter attended a class trip...
